About the role
Do you dream of running your own place one day, but want to build up more experience first? Or do you already have a few years of hospitality experience and are ready for the next step? At SLA, there's room for both — this role has two entry levels:
Junior Store Manager — you don't have management experience yet, but you do have a background in hospitality and the ambition to change that. You learn the trade on the job, guided by an experienced Store Manager, and grow into a management role of your own.
Store Manager — you already have management experience and are ready for more ownership. You start with (shared) responsibility for the day-to-day operation and the results of the store, and help coach the Junior Store Manager in your team.
Either way, you aim every day for the highest possible quality of our product — and that's not just a delicious, healthy, fresh salad, but the entire experience of a visit to SLA.
Tasks and responsibilities
Depending on your entry level, you build up the tasks below:
You recruit, train and motivate your team. (Store Manager: including coaching and developing the Junior Store Manager towards a management role.)
You help set schedules and monitor staffing and operational costs. (Junior: together with your Store Manager · Store Manager: independently, including responsibility for the store's commercial results.)
You contribute to purchasing, stock management and product quality.
You safeguard hygiene and compliance with HACCP guidelines.
You contribute to performance reviews and team activities (Junior), or run these independently (Store Manager).
You actively work the floor and lead by example.
You contribute ideas for improvements in your store. (Store Manager: with room to also contribute to SLA-wide projects, such as new store openings or process improvements.)
You're supported by our Operations Team and, as a Junior Store Manager, by an experienced Store Manager. You're the heart of your team: an enthusiastic leader, a quick thinker and a positive problem-solver.
About you

You have hospitality experience, but no management experience yet.
You clearly have leadership potential and the ambition to grow into a management role.
Store Manager:

For both levels:
You have a hands-on mentality and motivate your team with enthusiasm.
You think in solutions and keep an overview.
You're proficient in English. Dutch is not essential, but a nice extra.
You're available for varying shifts, including weekends.
And of course: you love healthy & delicious food.
